The military branch would be similar, starting out with you attacking bases with NPCs, controlling the NPCs, choosing where to attack, etc. For example, being a farmer would require you to farm a certain amount of crops, being a group leader lets you assign a limited amount of NPCs to help you, being a manager would let you assign more NPCs and give them more than one job, being a trader would let you set up trade routes (pretty much like a normal buy menu where towns and bases on other planets can give you pixels and their available goods for your pixels and available goods and the trade keeps repeating), and being an owner gives you the abilities of a trader and manager. Some jobs require experience from previous jobs, adding a progression to the system (Farmer/Miner-Group Leader-Manager-Trader-Owner). At any settlement in the game, you can make the decision to join the faction as well as choose a job (under 3 sections Military, Economy, and Adventure). As you explore, you can discover new bases and villages of these factions, which are then listed under the new factions menu along with the inhabitants. My idea is that at the beginning of each game, there are a few factions (which aren't just 'Human Faction', 'Novakid Faction', etc). The game's lore mentions many groups and wars going on, but you have no way to really see these in the game. I have an idea that will bring uses to these structures, bring purpose to staying on a planet and settling instead of being nomadic, adds new quests, and possibly incorporate the upcoming ship combat AI factions. However, after you buy what you need and search through the chests, they are essentially useless.
